Acron’s fertilizer output falls 3% to 1.596 mln tns in Jan–Mar

MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer Acron reduced its production of mineral fertilizers by 3% on the year to 1.596 million tonnes in January–March, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Ammonia output went down 0.6% to 677,000 tonnes and production of nitrogen fertilizers decreased 10.3% to 1.114 million tonnes, while production of complex fertilizers rose 1.3% to 618,000 tonnes.

At the same time, Acron’s output of industrial products increased 19.3% to 306,000 tonnes, and production of apatite concentrate jumped 33.9% to 47,000 tonnes. So, the company’s total commercial output grew 0.6% on the year to 1.948 million tonnes in the period.
